Bio/Description

Joel Hartman is an observational astronomer whose research focuses on discovering exoplanets and exploring their properties. He is a member of the Princeton-led HATNet, HATSouth, and HATPI projects, which are major ground-based surveys for transiting exoplanets around bright stars. He is also broadly interested in topics related to time domain astronomy, and in developing computational methods for analyzing astronomical time series data.
