Bio/Description
There is now a population of several thousand known exoplanet systems, which display a remarkable diversity in their physical and orbital properties. I’m interested in leveraging a variety of tools (including dynamics theory, numerical simulations, and statistics) to draw conclusions about the formation and subsequent evolution of planetary systems. Specific interests include the giant impact phase of planet formation, orbital instabilities, and resonance chain systems.
