Tyler Eddy, New to the Astrophysics’ Family, is Featured in the Princeton University News

A recent article and video produced by Princeton University Advancement tells the inspiring story of Tyler Eddy, a sophomore and recently declared astrophysics major in the Department of Astrophysical Sciences. Mr. Eddy was admitted to Princeton from a non-traditional path and his enriching life experiences along with his academic goals and career plans are told in Tyler’s own words in the video.  

Tyler’s story is highlighted as an example of how Princeton’s Annual Giving campaign supports the University’s mission for academic excellence combined with service. The University aims to strengthen its academic culture by admitting students from unique and diverse backgrounds who add a special perspective to the learning environment. Tyler Eddy’s personal story as a Marine Corps veteran, father, and aspiring astrophysicist exemplifies how students can benefit from and positively impact the University and the community at large.
