Two Princeton University Students Receive Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Awards

The American Astronomical Society has announced that two Princeton students are among the  recipients of the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Awards for posters they presented at the 246th meeting of the American Astronomical Society, held in Anchorage. 

Rising senior Sufia Birmingham received an undergraduate award and rising sophomore Rishika Porandla received an undergraduate honorable mention.  

Sufia’s poster was titled “The birth of young radio jets in changing-look AGN: a population study."

Rishika’s paper was titled "Benchmarking Simulation Frameworks for IC 5146: A Case Study in Filamentary Cloud Modeling.”
