Princeton Alumna Hiranya Peiris is Awarded the Göran Gustafsson Prize

The Göran Gustafsson Prize in Physics has been awarded to Hiranya Peiris “for her innovative research on the dynamics of the early universe, which links cosmological observations to basic physics”. Dr. Peiris graduated from Princeton in 2003 with her doctorate in Astrophysics under the guidance of her advisor, David Spergel, Emeritus Professor of Astrophysical Sciences. She is currently a Professor of Physics at Stockholm University. The full story can be read here
