The University and the DOE have agreed to extend the contract supporting the Princeton Plasma Physics Lab until March 31, 2022. The new contract includes support for fundamental plasma experiments like FLARE, and for new HPC hardware to be housed at the HPCRC. This contract extension allows the Astrophysical Sciences Department to continue its partnership with the PPPL and to grow collaborations in basic plasma science and space physics. Dave McComas, Steve Cowley, and many others contributed to this contract extension.
