Camille Reeves, rising Junior in Astrophysical Sciences, is returning to campus after a summer internship in the office of Senator Sherrod Brown (OH) in Washington, DC.
Camille was among 45 Schaffer Fellows from five universities who completed public service internships this past summer. Applicants are selected based on academic strength and interest in public service. Schaffer Fellows are exposed to a range of government experiences, and as a cohort, participate in a shared professional development curriculum. The overall mission of the fellowship program is to support public service, professional development, and engaged citizenship among fellows as they learn more about the wide variety of opportunities available in federal, state, and local government.
