Cole Meyer ’24 and Helen Shao ’24 have won the highly prestigious prize Fellowship awarded by the National Science Foundation, and Wolf Cukier ’24 received an honorable mention. The purpose of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is to help ensure the quality, vitality, and diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce of the United States. The award is given to outstanding students in STEM graduate programs or applying to graduate programs. It provides substantial financial support for the recipients’ graduate studies. Meyer and Shao are among 14,000 applicants and 2,000 recipients of the Fellowship this year.
