Andrew Saydjari, NASA Hubble Fellow, has received the 2024 International Astronomical Union PhD Prize

Andrew Saydjari, NASA Hubble Fellow at Princeton, has received the 2024 International Astronomical Union (IAU) PhD Prize in Division H: Interstellar Matter and Local Universe for his Harvard dissertation: "Statistical Models of the Spatial, Kinematic, and Chemical Complexity of Dust”. The IAU PhD Prize recognizes outstanding scientific achievement in astrophysics around the world. Each year, the IAU’s nine divisions each award a prize to the candidate they identify as having carried out the most remarkable work in the previous year.

Prize winners are invited to present their work during the Division Days at the IAU XXXIII General Assembly, to be held in August 2027 in Rome, Italy.
